Where healing, purpose, and shared humanity take root.

Welcome & Vision

Too many people today are hurting—trapped by addiction, isolation, or a lack of purpose. At All Common Ground, we believe that real healing occurs when people are restored in mind, body, and spirit within a community that values them.

Whether someone joins a weekly support group or lives on-site in our 6–to 12–month residential program, everything we offer is designed to build connections, dignity, and long-term transformation. This is not a short-term fix. It’s a life reboot, rooted in love.

Core Philosophy

Our approach is holistic, inclusive, and deeply relational. We believe:

  • God is Love. While inspired by the teachings of Jesus, we don’t push conversion. Everyone—regardless of faith background—deserves to be seen and supported.
  • Every person has a purpose. No matter their past, everyone has something to give. Healing happens through contribution.
  • Community is medicine. Healing isn’t just individual. It’s shared. We break isolation by serving, learning, and growing together.

Program Structure

Support Options

  • Daily and/or Weekly Support Circles (non-residential)
  • Residential Program (6–12 months) with “phasing up” for increased responsibility and job readiness
  • Transitional Housing for “graduates” transitioning

Addictions We Address

  • Substance: Alcohol, drugs, prescription misuse
  • Behavioral: Porn, sex, social media (both creators & consumers), gaming
  • Emotional: Depression, anxiety, loneliness

Therapy & Care

  • Minimal reliance on pharmaceuticals
  • Individual counseling, group therapy, CBT, and motivational interviewing
  • Cognitive distortion coaching (all-or-nothing thinking, catastrophizing, etc.)

Life on Site

The Mind

  • Limited internet and media during early recovery
  • Journaling, reflection prompts, and peer mentoring
  • Understanding brain function and emotional regulation

The Body

  • Organic food, much of it grown on-site
  • Physical activity: boot camps, martial arts, yoga, daily walks
  • Sleep hygiene, personal care, gardening, and daily structure

The Spirit

  • Faith-affirming but non-dogmatic space: “God is Love”
  • Story-sharing, music, prayer, meditation, and encouragement
  • Four Pillars of Wholeness:
    • Surrender & Connection
    • Healing & Forgiveness
    • Renewal & Discipline
    • Service & Community

Work, Learning & Service

Everyone contributes, regardless of age or ability. Some clean, cook, answer phones, garden, or mentor others.

  • Phased-Up Residents: Eligible to work with partner businesses (lawn care, trades, digital marketing, etc.) that, in turn, donate time or services to others in need
  • Visiting Instructors: Teach trades like carpentry, auto repair, welding, digital literacy, and more
  • Micro-enterprises: Childcare, pet sitting, tool libraries, community café

Creative Revenue & Sustainability

We believe in earning while serving and in building a self-sustaining model:

  • Regular Merchandise: Affordable shirts, hats, and mugs to spread the message
  • Premium Auction Items: 1-of-1 pieces made by residents or local artists
  • Handmade Goods: Candles, journals, wood signs, leather keychains, and more
  • CSA Boxes: Produce, honey, and gifts from the farm
  • Sponsor a Resident: Donor model with tiered giving and story updates
  • Financial Transparency: Every dollar is traceable to avoid nonprofit “black holes”

Partnerships & Community Culture

We work alongside churches, therapists, volunteers, and local businesses, all committed to:

  • No proselytizing or conversion pressure
  • LGBTQ-affirming, trauma-informed care
  • Clear Code of Conduct: Respect. No shaming. No spiritual coercion.

Everyone—regardless of identity or belief—is asked to live out the same values: love, dignity, and mutual respect.

Growth & Next Steps

Future Tracks:

  • Youth & young adults (trauma-informed, education support)
  • Elders & special needs (addiction doesn’t retire)
  • Trade certifications and spiritual mentorship

Next Steps:

  • Finalize curriculum and program flow
  • Secure partnerships with businesses, therapists, and local allies
  • Map infrastructure: housing, kitchen, farm, classrooms
  • Launch pilot and refine based on feedback

Final Invitation

We are not chasing perfection. We are cultivating presence.

If you’re a builder, a healer, a helper, or someone who’s simply ready to live with more purpose, join us.

We’re creating a place where recovery isn’t just sobriety—it’s rediscovering life, love, and what it means to be human. Together

I have never been satisfied with my life. It has been a constant struggle for more, which has led to various addictions. As a perfectionist, I tend to give up on almost everything I start. The one constant in my life has been working out. I was never interested in team sports, mainly because I wasn't good at them. I excel when I apply my natural talents, but I often lose interest quickly. I was born in Bayonne, New Jersey, in 1970, and my family of seven moved to a small house in Sunrise, Florida, in 1973. I lived in Broward County for over 40 years. My son was born in 2012, and six months later, we relocated to Boone, North Carolina. I’m a marketing consultant and community builder who believes real change comes through honest, human conversation. I started All Common Ground to help people reconnect across differences—with love at the center and no need to "win."
